MAJA DJORDJEVIC

Maja Djordjevic works with the visual syntax of early computer graphics and digital manipulation, drawing on the legacies of deskilling, net art, and feminist figuration. She uses MS Paint as a visual diary, translating its immediacy into her paintings, which appear as digital images, but are in fact meticulously executed in oil and enamel entirely by hand, without any technical aids.
